My order arrived here several days sooner than I expected. I am pleased with the sound and am enjoying holding and looking at the bowl. One thing I found interesting is that when I set my chromatic guitar tuner next to the bowl when I strike it, I get the nice deep tone that bounces between a sharp G# or flat A natural, depending upon how hard I strike the bowl, and when I hold the tuner inside the bowl when I strike it it is the D# or C of when I use the mallet. What a wonderful open fifth. I have a relatively inexpensive modern bowl which, while it has a nice clear tone when struck, it takes some time with much patience and concentration to get it to sing; the one you sent me sings almost as soon as I start rubbing the mallet on the rim. I love my bowls. Thank you so much. How did you get interested in them? I am a veterinarian and use them for healing. Currently I have a 3 year old dachshund that was paralyzed behind, onset 6 days ago. He is able to stand now. Not walk yet but each day he improves. I have never seen these dogs do well, certainly never this well without the sound therapy. ( I have been doing alternative therapies for 30 years.) He had to have a major nutrition upgrade as well.
